As a Data Engineer at Dandy, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our data engineering capabilities and contributing to a mature, high-performing data team. You'll work across multiple domains, from product analytics to supply chain optimization, ensuring our data systems are scalable, reliable, and production-ready.

The role involves designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, building a robust data platform, and establishing engineering best practices. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize workflows, and ensure data quality while maintaining comprehensive documentation.

We're looking for someone with 4+ years of experience in data engineering, strong technical expertise in Python and modern data tools, and a proven track record of building production-ready systems.   • Lead data infrastructure development and maintain scalable data pipelines
  • Build and enhance Dandy's data platform
  • Own the entire lifecycle of data pipelines
  • Drive adoption of best practices for data engineering
  • Collaborate with data analysts and product managers
  • Optimize and maintain data workflows
  • Create and maintain documentation for data architecture

Requirements For Data Engineer (Global)

Python
  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
  • Proficient in Python, Airflow/Dagster, DBT, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
  • Experience in productionizing data workflows
  • Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills
  • Must be based in a timezone within 3 hours of New York
  • Experience with building production-ready data systems
