Responsibilities For Manufacturing Automation Project Engineer

  • Support the implementation of automation projects from concept to commissioning
  • Follow timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Support equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning phase
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for automation systems integration
  • Provide training and support to operations teams
  • Innovate low cost PoC to improve quality, efficiency, ergonomics and safety
  • Assist process engineers with control and data collection systems

Requirements For Manufacturing Automation Project Engineer

Python
  • B.S in Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering; or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in PLC, C/C++, HMI
  • Strong experience in arduino, electrical PoC
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of complex automation systems
  • Knowledge of CPK, OEE, Yield and availability for machine metrics
  • Experience participating in FAT, SAT and machine buyoff at vendor sites
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Provide on-call support during equipment implementation
  • 10% travel internationally
