Assistant Electrical Engineer

Dangote Group is seeking an Assistant Electrical Engineer to join their DCP - Operations team. This full-time, on-site role is based in Mtwara, Tanzania.

The Assistant Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, ensuring optimum quality and safety. Key responsibilities include:

• Daily job allocation and technical guidance to subordinates
• Ensuring compliance with safety measures in the work area
• Executing maintenance and servicing of various electrical systems and equipment
• Preparing reports and maintaining documentation
• Updating maintenance data in SAP
• Issuing materials from the store and managing spare parts requirements
• Preparing PR, notifications, and work orders in SAP

The ideal candidate should have:

• Knowledge and work experience with Low, Medium, and High Voltage systems
• Understanding of engineering drawings and principles
• Extensive knowledge of plant and equipment technology
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in electrical safety practices
