IT Analytics and Reporting Engineer (Power BI)

Dangote Group is seeking an experienced IT Analytics and Reporting Engineer to join their team at Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical. This full-time, on-site role is based in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI and other tools.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI
• Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop analytics solutions
• Developing and maintaining databases, data warehouses, and data lakes
• Creating data models, data governance policies, and data quality standards
• Integrating analytics and reporting solutions with existing systems and infrastructure
• Troubleshooting issues and performing maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI and other relevant data analytics and reporting certifications
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT analytics and reporting
• Advanced skills in Power BI and data visualization

The role will be evaluated based on KPIs such as report and dashboard accuracy, data refresh rate, report delivery time, dashboard performance, error resolution time, and report automation.

Additional desirable skills include experience with other analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView), knowledge of big data technologies (SQL databases), and experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
