IT Application Development and Management Engineer (Microsoft Stack & SQL/DBA)

Dangote Group, a Nigerian multinational industrial conglomerate, is seeking an experienced IT Application Development and Management Engineer to join their team at Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical. This full-time, on-site position in Lagos, Nigeria, requires a skilled professional with a strong background in Microsoft technologies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in application development and management using Microsoft technologies, including .NET, Azure, and SQL Server. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying web applications and services, as well as managing existing applications to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing and maintaining databases using SQL Server, implementing Microsoft fabric technologies, and working with the DevOps team for smooth deployment and monitoring of applications. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues and providing guidance to junior team members.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, relevant Microsoft certifications, and proficiency in PHP, .NET, Azure, and SQL Server. Experience with cloud computing platforms, containerization, and agile methodologies is also desired.
