Description For IT Project Management Engineer

Dangote Group is seeking an experienced IT Project Management Engineer to lead and manage IT projects from initiation to delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, expertise in IT service management, agile methodologies, and project management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and high-quality delivery
  • Develop and execute project plans, resource allocation plans, and risk management plans
  • Coordinate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications
  • Manage project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, sales, marketing, and product development
  • Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements and IT standards
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts
  • Develop and maintain project documentation
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince2, ACP, ITIL, or CSM
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in IT project management
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello)
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience working in agile teams

  • Excellent leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile teams
