IT Support Engineer (CCNP & CompTIA A+)

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer with CCNP and CompTIA A+ certifications to join our IT team at Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical. The successful candidate will provide advanced technical support and assistance to employees.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide advanced technical support for network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including connectivity, performance, and security
• Configure and maintain network devices, including Cisco routers and switches
• Implement and support network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to design and implement new network infrastructure projects
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledgebase articles
• Provide training and guidance to junior IT staff
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives to improve IT services
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (BSc/BE) in computer science, Information Technology or any related field
• Relevant CCNP and CompTIA certifications
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in IT support or network administration
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with network infrastructure, protocols, security, and management tools
• Familiarity with IT service management tools and software
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
