Dangote Group, a leading Nigerian multinational industrial conglomerate, is seeking a Surveillance Engineer for their cement industry operations in Gboko, Benue, Nigeria. This role is crucial for maintaining the security and integrity of the company's premises through advanced surveillance technologies.

As a Surveillance Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining all surveillance equipment, with a focus on CCTV systems. Your duties will include daily operational checks, troubleshooting faulty cameras, ensuring proper recording and backup of footage, and coordinating with the CCTV surveillance supervisor for field observations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or HND in Engineering or Computer Science, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in CCTV operations and maintenance within a manufacturing organization. Strong IT skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail are essential for this role.

Responsibilities For Surveillance Engineer - Cement Industry

  • Maintain and monitor all surveillance equipment within company premises
  • Ensure proper maintenance and troubleshooting of CCTV equipment
  • Check operational status of cameras daily
  • Ensure CCTV footage recording backup is available for 150 days
  • Report equipment failures to site Head of Department
  • Monitor activities to prevent intrusion/theft of company properties
  • Report/escalate violators daily
  • Coordinate with CCTV surveillance supervisor during field observations
  • Maintain integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of information
  • Maintain proper shift handover
  • Suggest modifications for improving CCTV surveillance monitoring system
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and statutory requirements
  • Maintain housekeeping

Requirements For Surveillance Engineer - Cement Industry

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum 3 years experience in CCTV operations and maintenance in a Manufacturing Organization
