As a Radar Engineer at Dark, you'll be integral to our electronics department, leading the development of orbital radar systems from concept to space qualification. Responsibilities For Radar Engineer

  • Define initial radiofrequency architecture meeting mission requirements
  • Simulate and design radio frequency chains
  • Provide space radar for target acquisition and rendez-vous
  • Define development and qualification roadmap for radar subsystems
  • Drive team through development and validation phases
  • Implement and test radiofrequency circuits and mixed-signal boards
  • Interface with program management team for progress reporting
  • Select appropriate components and build relationships with providers
  • Contribute to electronics processes and tools

Requirements For Radar Engineer

  • 7+ years of experience in radiofrequency and electronic design
  • Background from Defense/Aerospace industry
  • Expertise in radiofrequency simulation and design (ADS or Ansys)
  • Knowledge of antenna parameters, RF front-end architecture, and radar design
  • Knowledge of signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
  • Expertise in electronic board design (Altium Designer) and circuit simulation
  • Technical English required, French is a plus
  • Knowledge of space engineering and radiation effects is a plus
