As a Software Engineer - Applicative, you will:

  • Participate in the architecture, implementation, and validation of the software to control the HADES spacecraft
  • Help identify and upgrade common libraries to be replicated across multiple software components
  • Build the complete control logic of the orbital vehicles
  • Interface with the GNC team to integrate algorithms and centralize hardware constraints
  • Define appropriate monitoring logic, driving the behavior of Dark's system

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement features that enable control and monitoring of the spacecraft
  • Guarantee the performance of the flight software in terms of computational time and memory consumption
  • Participate in the architecture of the overall applicative software solution
  • Support integration tests and analyses
  • Interface with and support other teams (GNC, electronics, simulator, embedded software, etc.)
  • Contribute to software processes and tools to meet high-quality engineering standards

Responsibilities For Software Engineer - Applicative

  • Guarantee the performance of the flight software in terms of computational time and memory consumption
  • Participate in the architecture of the overall applicative software solution
  • Support integration tests and analyses
  • Interface with and support other teams (GNC, electronics, simulator, embedded software, etc.)
  • Contribute to software processes and tools to meet high-quality engineering standards

Requirements For Software Engineer - Applicative

  • 7+ years of experience in software development
  • Ideal background from the Defense / Aerospace industry (e.g. MBDA, Thales, Dassault, Safran, etc.)
  • Deep theoretical and applied skills in C++ and object-oriented programming
  • Background in multi-threaded software conception
  • Hands-on experience with real-time environment (RTOS)
  • Familiarity with distributed software architecture and frameworks
  • Knowledge of CMake, Git, Gitlab is a plus
  • Knowledge of technical English is required. Fluency in French is a plus
