As a Software Engineer in HIL and Simulation, you will:
- Participate in the development of Dark's Software-In-The-Loop and Hardware-In-The-Loop capabilities
- Be responsible for developing new simulator features
- Interface with the GNC team to gather adequate models
- Work with the avionics team for the design of the interface with operational boards
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emulated capacities to enable complete testing of software and electronic boards
- Develop ROS-based packages to emulate sensors/actuators interfaces
- Define requirements and coordinate the development of electronic boards to interface spacecraft components
- Implement Hardware-In-the-Loop tests of Avionics components
- Integrate Simulink plant model blocks into a C++ framework
- Interface with and support GNC and electronics teams
- Contribute to software processes and tools to meet high-quality engineering standards
- Identify commonalities with the Ground Segment software suite
