We're building a team of exceptional engineers to tackle crucial challenges through advanced engineering, with a particular focus on velocity and enabling faster-than-ever orbital missions.

As a Test Engineer in our development team, you'll play a crucial role in planning and implementing test activities for our cutting-edge orbital demonstrator. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with various testing aspects, including radar testing, chemical thruster testing (both atmospheric and vacuum), thermal vacuum testing, and functional testing.

The role demands a strong background in verification and validation, preferably from the Defense/Aerospace industry. You'll be working in a highly iterative environment, collaborating directly with multiple teams across electronics, radar, mechanical, propulsion, and aerodynamics departments. Your expertise in aerospace test specifications and hands-on experience with various sensor types will be vital for success.

Responsibilities For Test Engineer - Development IVVQ

  • Getting up to speed with the current test schedule and past testing activities
  • Work with the team to achieve ground hot-fire testing of orbital chemical thruster
  • Identifying requirements sets and preparing verification activities
  • Contributing to the verification strategy of various projects
  • Planning and implementing verification activities
  • Researching and selecting the right test partners
  • Selecting the right hardware to perform test activities
  • Preparing test documentation
  • Participating in test activities and supporting other teams

Requirements For Test Engineer - Development IVVQ

  • 7+ years of experience in V&V and/or testing
  • Background from the Defense / Aerospace industry
  • Knowledge of aerospace test specifications (ECSS, NASA-STD, MIL-STD, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with various sensor types and instrumentation best-practices
  • Ability to learn new skills for different departments
  • Ability to work in a highly iterative environment
  • Knowledge of technical English required
  • Fluency in French is a plus
