We're seeking a Full Stack Java Engineer to join our mission-driven team developing next-generation drone technology. The role combines backend development using Java/Spring Boot with frontend work, focusing on creating intuitive interfaces for military and public safety users. You'll work on autonomous drone systems, implementing critical features from REST APIs to user interfaces. The position offers remote work flexibility with some travel, competitive salary ($140K-$180K), and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities For Full Stack Java Engineer

  • Design and develop robust and scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
  • Create RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and drone hardware
  • Build user-friendly and intuitive frontend interfaces using modern web technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
  • Leverage containerization and Kubernetes to deploy and manage applications efficiently
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Requirements For Full Stack Java Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language and Enterprise Java frameworks (Spring Boot)

  • Solid understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and tools
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to travel up to three weeks per quarter
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
