As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing disposable sUAS (small Unmanned Aircraft Systems) platforms that combine innovative design with practical engineering.

The role demands a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership, where you'll be responsible for creating and refining technology inside sUAS designs. You'll work in rapid development cycles with 6-week sprints, conducting hands-on research, prototyping, and validation to ensure high-quality, cost-effective products.

Responsibilities For Lead Electrical Engineer

  • Create and refine technology inside sUAS designs
  • Provide expertise across products to meet requirements and production needs
  • Conduct research, prototyping, testing, and validation
  • Support and lead rapid product development cycles with 6-week sprints
  • Test and debug electromechanical equipment
  • Provide innovative and cost effective solutions
  • Collaborate across multi-functional teams

Requirements For Lead Electrical Engineer

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical commercial hardware engineering
  • 1+ year experience leading products
  • Expert knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer
  • Experience with layouts for single board computers
  • Experience with PCIE routing, MIPI, USB3, and Flexible PCBs
  • Knowledge of common interfaces (Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART, USB)
  • U.S. Citizenship required
