The Strategic Solutions Engineer (SE) role is a dynamic and varied customer focused technical position in New York City. SCTs provide technical and cyber defense expertise in pre-sale and post-sales accounts, working together with our Cyber Account Managers to develop strategies to ensure customer needs are met.

Key Responsibilities: • Partner with the Key Account Team to develop strategic and technical account plans • Walk customers and prospects through demos and Proof of Value for Darktrace in their environment • Identify new opportunities for upsells by creating and developing strong technical relationships with customers and channel partners • Collaborate with Customers on Technology reviews, product findings, and integration with other technologies they may have • Support responses to RFIs/RFPs • Design deployment plans and architectures for customers

Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in a software sales engineer or technical account manager role; experience in cybersecurity strongly preferred • Demonstrated success in selling to and supporting Fortune 500 organizations • Experience in consultative selling and POV success criteria definition • Strong knowledge in both on-premise and cloud networking • Confident, polished communicator with a proven ability to build lasting, critical business relationships • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline preferred • Willing to accommodate a hybrid work model
