Datacom, a leading IT services provider in Australia and New Zealand, is seeking a skilled Citrix Engineer to join their technical support team. The position requires a mid-level engineer with 3-5 years of experience in system administration, focusing on Citrix technologies, Windows Server environments, and cloud infrastructure. You'll be responsible for supporting and maintaining critical server infrastructure, providing technical expertise, and ensuring service level agreements are met.

As a Citrix Engineer, you'll work directly with customers and internal teams, providing both remote and occasional on-site support. The role demands expertise in Citrix DaaS, Virtual Apps and Desktops, Netscaler administration, and various user profile management tools. You'll also need strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, virtualization technologies, and backup/disaster recovery methodologies.

Responsibilities For Citrix Engineer

  • Provide technical maintenance and support services within agreed service levels
  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Support server infrastructure within contracted time frames and SLAs
  • Provide remote assistance over the phone and ad-hoc onsite visits
  • Participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support
  • Proactively manage infrastructure
  • Drive service process improvement

Requirements For Citrix Engineer

Linux
  • 3-5 years' experience as a System Administrator
  • Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops Administration and configuration
  • Citrix Netscaler Administration and configuration
  • User profile management via UPM, FSLogix, and Ivanti DesktopNow
  • Windows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Server technology products
  • Experience with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Management of physical server environments such as Cisco Unified Computing (UCS)
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies
  • Must be an AU Citizen and able to obtain a baseline clearance
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills
