Responsibilities For Desktop Support Engineer

  • Providing excellent technical support in a high-paced environment
  • Assisting new users with IT hardware collection and setup
  • Ensuring new equipment are up to date and deployment ready
  • Recording all customer contacts in the ITSM tool
  • Keeping commitments to customers with progress updates
  • Using tools and processes to deliver services according to SLAs
  • Proactively manage and maintain customer infrastructure
  • Initiate and drive service and process improvement

Requirements For Desktop Support Engineer

Linux
  • Exceptional customer experience with end user services
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet service level agreements
  • Sound knowledge of Laptops, Desktop PCs, printers, media and audio-visual equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional customer service skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
