Senior SOE Engineer

Datacom is seeking a Senior SOE Engineer to join their Endpoint Engineering team. The role involves managing day-to-day operations of customer endpoint systems and engaging in project work. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune
• Working with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Managing Active Directory and Group Policy
• Scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch)
• Windows 10 task sequencing and endpoint configuration
• Large-scale software deployments
• Maintaining and enhancing environment-wide configurations
• Ensuring customer satisfaction
• Identifying service improvements and efficiencies
• Following ITIL processes
• Performing hardware and OS upgrades
• Maintaining desktop OS images
• Leading projects
• Documenting designs, how-tos, and environment reports

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of IT industry experience
• 5 years in a similar Senior SOE Engineer role
• Exceptional knowledge of Windows Modern Desktop technologies
• Strong skills in endpoint management platforms
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Ability to work autonomously
