Working US hours (11:00 - 19:30 CT) from Austin, Texas, you'll need to be self-reliant as there will be limited overlap with UK engineering teams.

This role combines technical expertise with customer service excellence, requiring someone who can translate complex technical issues into customer-friendly language. You'll manage support tickets, create documentation, and handle deployment infrastructure in Azure. Responsibilities For Application Support Engineer (US)

  • Review and triage support tickets
  • Manage tickets in Freshdesk and JIRA
  • Resolve tickets directly when no code changes required
  • Create support documentation and self-help resources
  • Provide customer feedback to product team
  • Manage deployment infrastructure in Azure
  • Ship releases to customers
  • Review and improve support processes

Requirements For Application Support Engineer (US)

JavaScript
  • Demonstrable experience in L2 or L3 application support for external customers
  • Experience supporting customers in enterprise environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of SQL - able to write and run scripts
  • Knowledge of JavaScript
  • Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Must be independent and self-starter
  • Comfortable working US hours with limited UK team overlap
