The role involves working on their advanced resource management solution that incorporates AI and intelligent automation to help professional services firms optimize their workforce. As a Data Engineer, you'll be part of a specialized team developing customer integrations, working directly with clients from the Big Four and global top 10 accountancy firms across more than 50 countries.

Your responsibilities will include defining ETL specifications, implementing Azure Data Factory pipelines, and ensuring data integration reliability. You'll collaborate closely with various teams, including Software Implementation Consultants, Site Reliability Engineering, and customer IT departments. The position offers a blend of technical challenges and client-facing opportunities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both technical work and communication.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer (UK)

  • Work with software implementation consultants to define and verify ETL process specifications
  • Work with customer IT to test data source endpoints
  • Implement, test and deploy Azure Data Factory pipeline definitions
  • Work with Site Reliability Engineering team for solution reliability
  • Work with Engineering teams for integrated data capability
  • Support cutover to production systems
  • Identify improvements to existing Azure Data Factory processes

Requirements For Data Engineer (UK)

  • Experience in Azure Data Factory or relevant cloud ETL technology
  • Proven experience in Data Engineering environments
  • Experience building and maintaining data integrations
  • Good understanding of ETL process
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Rest APIs, SQL databases
  • Experience collaborating with other departments
  • Good attention to detail
