Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer (Backshift)

  • Support customers by completing infrastructure operations support tasks and change requests
  • Manage scheduling and coordinating team priorities via SRE Kanban board
  • Contribute to automating and improving SRE activities
  • Manage on-call scenarios and ensure prompt service restoration
  • Diagnose and triage escalated issues
  • Monitor infrastructure stability and implement alerts and dashboards
  • Contribute to feature development of SRE automation and self-service tools
  • Manage infrastructure estate and deploy new version releases

Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer (Backshift)

  • Experience in DevOps and/or Site Reliability Engineering
  • Proficiency in Powershell or Python
  • Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Debugging and code understanding capabilities
  • Ability to work between 2:00pm-10:30pm
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
