The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of construction planning experience and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. They will be responsible for complex planning and scheduling tasks, including change management, scheduled maintenance, and multi-project resource management. The role demands expertise in tools like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, along with strong communication skills to interface with both technical and management-level personnel.

Responsibilities For Planning Engineer
- Establish strong client relationships and communicate with technical and management personnel
- Prepare and present PowerPoint decks on progress, findings, and recommendations
- Review project plans, requirements, and specifications
- Establish work breakdown structures, CPM baseline schedules, and integrated master schedules
- Load schedules with resource and cost information
- Perform resource analyses to identify bottlenecks
- Update and maintain monthly and weekly schedules and reports
- Review consultants, contractors, and vendor schedules
- Implement earned value system (EVM)
- Identify program risks and provide mitigation recommendations
- Perform what-if and delay analyses
- Act as primary communication link between company and clients
Requirements For Planning Engineer
- 2+ years of construction planning and scheduling experience
- Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, engineering, project management, or related technical field
- Fluency in English
- Good understanding of construction and scheduling best practices
- Highly proficient in Primavera P6
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Project
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Experience with technical and complicated construction programs
