Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Node/React/TypeScript) - LATAM

Deel is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join their global team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on TypeScript development. You'll be responsible for developing high-quality, responsive web applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Express. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing server-side APIs, creating client-side React components, optimizing database schemas, and ensuring high-quality deliverables through thorough testing and debugging. Key Responsibilities:

• Independently lead tasks end-to-end
• Develop features on client, server, service, and database levels
• Participate in product planning from discovery to deployment
• Collaborate with team members to remove blockers
• Ensure a white-glove experience for customers
• Optimize for high-load and perform migrations/refactoring
• Create reusable and modular components
• Stay updated with emerging web development trends

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• 2+ years as a hands-on Senior Developer, Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or Tech Lead
• Expert in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Express
• Strong experience with high-load optimizations and migrations
• Excellent communication skills
• Business-focused approach to software development
• Attention to detail and customer-centric mindset

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Nest.js
• Solid understanding of Architecture (back-end and micro-frontends)
• Knowledge of AWS containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
