Responsibilities For Network Security Engineer
- Design and implement secure network solutions using Palo Alto and Fortinet technologies
- Configure firewalls, VPNs, and other security appliances to protect against threats
- Monitor network traffic and performance to identify and respond to security incidents
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective measures for network issues
- Develop, deploy, and maintain security policies, rules, and configurations for firewalls and security systems
- Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Optimize security systems for high availability and performance
- Conduct periodic system upgrades and patch management
- Work closely with IT teams to align security practices with business objectives
- Provide technical support and training for internal teams on network security tools and best practices
Requirements For Network Security Engineer
- Minimum of 5 years in network security roles
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls and security products
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification
- Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) 4 or above certification
- Proficient in firewall rule creation, VPN setup, and network segmentation
- Experience with IDS/IPS, SD-WAN, and threat analysis
- Strong understanding of routing protocols, VLANs, and network troubleshooting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
