Responsibilities For Cloud Automation Engineer
- Develop and maintain reusable and scalable IaC templates using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure
- Implement and manage infrastructure automation solutions leveraging VMware tools
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment
- Work with platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
- Enable cloud-native architectures and containerized environments
- Monitor infrastructure performance and implement auto-scaling
- Maintain documentation of automation scripts, pipelines, and architecture
- Provide training and mentorship to team members
Requirements For Cloud Automation Engineer
- Advanced knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation for IaC implementation
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions)
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with VMware automation platforms and Aria stack
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure automation, cloud engineering, or DevOps roles
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitOps workflows
