Responsibilities For OpenText NetIQ Engineer

  • Manage the deployment and operation of NetIQ's identity and access management (IAM) solutions onsite
  • Assist with the integration of NetIQ tools into the client's infrastructure, including SSO and MFA
  • Monitor and optimize directory services, identity synchronization, and privilege management systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enforce IAM policies and best practices
  • Provide ongoing support for NetIQ software, including upgrades, troubleshooting, and customizations
  • Train IT staff and end-users on IAM tools and workflows
  • Create detailed documentation of IAM implementations and processes for audit readiness

Requirements For OpenText NetIQ Engineer

Linux
  • Extensive knowledge of IAM concepts and NetIQ product suite, including Access Manager and Identity Manager
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory and LDAP
  • Familiarity with scripting for IAM automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
  • Certifications such as NetIQ Certified Professional or equivalent IAM-related credentials are advantageous
