Workplace Technology Engineer

As a Workplace Technology Engineer at Deliveroo, you'll work on projects, support various technology solutions, and maintain systems that employees use daily. This role combines software and systems engineering skills to select, build, and operate applications for employee productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement modern workplace technology solutions
• Lead projects related to employee productivity
• Maintain and operate reliable technology services
• Refine operational metrics and enhance monitoring systems
• Develop technical expertise in workplace technology areas
• Provide expert guidance for complex technical issues

Recommended Experience:

• Supporting cloud-based and SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian)
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of IT systems (email, document storage, networking, identity, device management, VDI)
• Troubleshooting browser-based applications
• Writing web-based applications or automating tasks (Go, Python, Node/JavaScript, TypeScript, React)
• Knowledge of data security and identity management best practices
• Strong documentation skills

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Google Workspace Developer tools
• Interest in GenAI tools for employee productivity
