The position involves optimizing data center solutions, from traditional to modular approaches, requiring expertise in power distribution and thermal technologies.

The role demands strong leadership skills to manage multiple programs and present to both Dell leadership and external customers. You'll be tasked with developing end-to-end solutions from compute to customer data center implementation, focusing on both traditional and modular architectures. Key responsibilities include optimizing cost, energy efficiency, and performance across IT infrastructure while designing and implementing effective testing and troubleshooting systems.

As a Principal Engineer, you'll drive architecture decisions for comprehensive solutions from server to data center level, including air and liquid cooled servers, integrated rack solutions, power distribution, and heat rejection systems. The position requires demonstrating engineering rigor across various disciplines including mechanical, power, controls, and thermals, while collaborating with internal teams, ODMs, and suppliers.
