Responsibilities For Principal Graphics Engineer
- Partner with Dell internal platform and graphics development engineering teams to manage onboard and add-in graphics program deliverables
- Lead/guide graphics technology providers and ODM partners on debug and resolution of hardware, software, and firmware issues
- Work with multiple internal teams for issue management and resolution
- Support commodity-level internal core teams with product issue management
- Manage resources at external suppliers including AMD, nVidia, Intel, and platform ODM partners
- Act as subject matter expert in graphics controllers, drivers & firmware
Requirements For Principal Graphics Engineer
- Engineering/Computer Science degree with preference for electrical or computer engineering
- 5+ years industry experience
- Proactive attitude to issue resolution
- Understanding of ODM development model
- Self-starter mentality
- Strong focus on customer experience and satisfaction
