Founded by MIT dropouts who experienced compliance challenges firsthand, Delve is on a mission to help startups scale faster without getting entangled in regulatory complexities.

As the Founding Applied AI Engineer, you'll join a core team of innovative founders, working directly on cutting-edge AI applications in the compliance space. The role combines deep AI expertise with practical engineering challenges, requiring someone who can architect autonomous AI agents, build robust infrastructure, and deliver user-friendly solutions.

The position offers a unique opportunity to shape both product and engineering culture from the ground up. You'll be working with modern technologies including LLM tools like Langchain, AI infrastructure solutions, and full-stack technologies such as Next.js, React, and Node.js. The ideal candidate brings experience in applied AI, particularly in areas like Retrieval Augmented Generation, combined with a versatile full-stack skill set.

What makes this role exceptional is the direct impact you'll have on solving a critical business problem. You'll be working alongside founders who understand the problem space intimately, having faced these challenges themselves. The position offers significant growth potential, both technically and in leadership, as you'll help scale the company from its early stages.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to be at the forefront of applying AI to real-world business challenges, values autonomy and ownership, and is excited about building something meaningful from the ground up. You'll be joining a YC-backed startup with strong traction and a clear mission to make compliance more accessible and efficient for companies everywhere.
