Data Engineer

DEPT® is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their dynamic team in a hybrid work environment based in Chicago. The role requires a well-rounded Data Engineer with 3+ years of experience who can translate business goals into concrete solutions. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including Python, Java, Scala, and various database management systems. The position offers an attractive salary range of $107,300 - $155,600, along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, 401k matching, and parental leave.

As part of the Data & Engineering team, you'll architect and develop enterprise systems, build data platforms and warehouses, and implement reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in core programming fundamentals, data management tools, and pipeline management systems. Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and Unix-based systems is advantageous.
