Principal Flutter Engineer, Contract | Digital Products Team

DEPT® is seeking a Principal Flutter Engineer to join their Digital Products Team on a contract basis through the end of the year. As a pioneer in the digital space, DEPT® creates integrated end-to-end digital experiences for major brands. The ideal candidate will work on complex apps across various industries, developing mobile applications using Flutter.

Key responsibilities include:

• Architecting and developing complex apps with material impact
• Leading and collaborating on technical, design, and product challenges
• Interfacing with clients (20% of time)
• Shaping best practices and innovation for the Android team
• Staying up-to-date with mobile ecosystem trends

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Flutter and shipping apps to public stores
• Strong UI/UX skills and ability to implement complex animations
• Deep understanding of network and data layer optimization
• Delivery-focused mindset with ability to break down complex problems
• Experience with version control, preferably git
• Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS) experience is a plus
