Description For Electrical Engineer

Destinus is an aerospace technology company founded under the belief that in the future distance shouldn't matter at all. We are building near-space vehicles and associated infrastructure, moving at the border of Space. Our hydrogen-powered vehicles are ten times faster than conventional aircraft, providing the just-in-time backbone for logistics, e-commerce, and supply chain companies.

We are searching for a recent graduate or early career engineer to join our R&D and Engineering department as an Electrical Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical design of various sub-systems of our gas turbine generator sets, including generators, UCP, MCC, fuel supply, starting system, filtration and ventilation system, lube oil system, and electrical equipment attached to the turbine.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in customer projects and executing electrical design and engineering tasks
  • Supporting the development of current and new products
  • Creating project-specific documentation (specifications, wiring diagrams, reports, etc.)
  • Processing as-built and as-installed information
  • Driving internal improvement projects, such as standardization of electrical drawings and documents
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, providing technical expertise

Requirements For Electrical Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent)
  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Hands-on experience with E-plan would be an advantage
  • Important competencies: hands-on approach, teamwork, accuracy
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
