Description For Electronic Design Engineer

Destinus is an aerospace technology company founded on the belief that, in the future, distance shouldn't matter at all. We are building near-space vehicles and associated infrastructure for ultra-fast logistics and e-commerce. Our hydrogen-powered vehicles are ten times faster than conventional aircraft, providing a just-in-time backbone for companies who can't wait.

As an Electronic Design Engineer at Destinus, you will join our embedded firmware/software team. Your responsibilities will include designing, manufacturing, and testing custom PCBs equipped with microcontrollers (such as STM32), SOCs (like Zynq), power supplies, and analog blocks. These PCBs are crucial for controlling the aircraft's propulsion and cryogenic fuel storage systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Derive block diagrams from requirements and select suitable architectures
  • Define electrical architecture, select components, and oversee manufacturing and testing
  • Generate production data packages for PCB manufacturers
  • Define mechanical layouts and mounting methods
  • Document connector interfaces and support harnessing teams
  • Work closely with software and firmware teams for testing and integration
  • Write software to validate boards, including Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP)
  • Support integration and testing at subsystem and system levels
  • Provide hardware support through test, production, integration, and flight phases

Join Destinus to be part of a team defining a new class of fast transportation, bringing goods instantly across the world.
