Join Destinus as a Lead Systems Engineer specializing in Turbojet Design, where you'll shape the future of high-speed aerospace travel. This role combines strategic leadership in turbojet engine development with hands-on technical expertise. You'll lead the complete lifecycle of small turbojet engine development, from conceptual design through to production readiness.

The position requires deep expertise in gas turbine technology, with a focus on integrating high-performance rotating components and critical subsystems. You'll be responsible for defining engine architecture, overseeing mechanical integration, and implementing advanced sealing solutions for high-speed rotating components in high-temperature environments.

Working with state-of-the-art tools like SolidWorks for CAD modeling and various FEA/CFD tools, you'll ensure designs meet aerospace standards while maintaining manufacturing precision. The role involves close collaboration with suppliers and manufacturing teams, implementing DFM and DFA principles, and developing comprehensive test plans.

  • Lead the full lifecycle of small turbojet engine from conceptual design to prototype and production readiness

  • 5+ years experience with strong background in gas turbine design
  • Expert in turbojet integration
  • Strong understanding of aerodynamics, tip clearance, and mechanical tolerancing
  • Experience with state-of-the-art CAD software, FEA/CFD tools
  • Experience in prototyping and testing of gas turbine components
  • Deep knowledge of high-temperature alloys and coatings
  • Experience with sealing solutions
  • Familiarity with fuel injection systems and electronic engine control
  • Fluent in English
