The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience in defense/aerospace, strong technical skills, and be comfortable with hybrid working arrangements based in Madrid, Spain. The role involves travel for test programs and supplier visits, requiring a driver's license and excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities For Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineer

  • Design and develop electro-mechanical and mechanical devices for UAV munition systems
  • Assemble prototypes for development testing and evaluation & oversee pilot builds
  • Assist test programs for functional and environmental testing
  • Organize and accurately document product data throughout the life cycle
  • Ensure smooth transition from prototype to production through documentation and data management
  • Provide technical expertise to the supply chain to qualify and source suitable suppliers

Requirements For Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineer

  • Bachelors or Masters degree (B.Sc/B.Eng) in mechanical/Mechatronic engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in defense and/or aerospace environment or similar (post-graduation)
  • Computer-aided design (Siemens NX preferred)
  • Proficient in electromechanical system design, including switches, sensors, actuators, and control systems
  • Hands-on experience assembling and testing prototype hardware
  • Good understanding of product data management in a production environment
  • Experience in generating and organizing product data for implementation
  • Strong technical communication and reporting skills
  • Product Development Experience
  • Drivers license
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Open to traveling to test ranges during product development cycles
