Destinus, an innovative aerospace technology company, is seeking a Robotics & Control Engineer to join their team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead GNC engineers and contribute to cutting-edge aerospace technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in guidance, navigation, and control systems, with experience in algorithm development, simulation, and embedded systems.

As a Robotics & Control Engineer at Destinus, you'll be at the forefront of developing ultra-fast transportation solutions that operate at the border of space. Your responsibilities will include defining control laws, identifying failure modes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing work packages. You'll play a crucial role in designing and implementing GNC solutions for UAVs that are ten times faster than conventional aircraft.

The position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in GNC Engineering, along with a relevant degree. You should have a strong foundation in applied mathematics, control system design, and embedded systems development. Familiarity with tools like MATLAB, Simulink, and Git is essential. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from multiple locations across Europe, including Madrid, Hengelo, and Payerne.

Requirements For Robotics & Control Engineer

  • Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in GNC Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
  • 3+ years of industry or postgraduate experience in GNC Engineering
  • Strong applied math foundations
  • Experience in linear and non-linear feedback control system design
  • Experience with Kalman filtering
  • Experience with sensor fusion algorithms
  • Experience with simulation development
  • Experience in C development for embedded systems
  • Experience with version control systems like Git
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent English Speaker
