Description For Stress Engineer

Destinus is seeking a Stress Engineer to join our R&D and Sales Engineering team. This is a full-time, hybrid position available in Madrid, Spain, or Hengelo, Netherlands. As a Stress Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and performance of our aerospace projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structural analysis and stress calculations for aerospace components and systems
  • Develop and implement stress analysis methodologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for performance and manufacturability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in stress analysis and structural engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry
  • Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
