In this role, you'll contribute to the entire UAV lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment. You'll work on designing and optimizing UAV systems, including airframes, propulsion systems, avionics, and payloads. Responsibilities For UAV Systems Engineer

  • Design and develop UAV systems including airframes, propulsion systems, avionics, and payloads
  • Define HW architecture of UAV systems and system-level architecture
  • Create detailed system and wiring diagrams
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support integration and assembly of UAV components
  • Prepare work instructions for assembly and testing procedures
  • Develop and conduct test plans for UAV systems
  • Prepare flight approval documentation and obtain necessary clearances
  • Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements For UAV Systems Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Experience in UAV systems engineering with focus on H.W. and systems architecture
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Siemens NX)
  • Strong understanding of aerodynamics, propulsion systems, avionics, and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for UAV design and operation
  • Experience with writing SORAs and interaction with EASA
  • Drone pilot licenses for civilian (A1, A2, A3) and military (DUO) segments preferred
  • Fluent English Speaker
