Description For Senior Support Engineer

DevSavant Inc. is seeking a Senior Support Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role combines technical expertise with customer support excellence, requiring 3-5 years of experience in both SaaS support and JavaScript development.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-tier technical support, handling customer inquiries through various channels, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. You'll need to master our product functionality, troubleshoot API integrations, and help customers build robust mobile applications.

Key responsibilities include managing approximately 30 tickets daily, creating technical documentation, mentoring junior engineers, and working closely with the engineering team to report and track bugs. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience with APIs and GIS software.

Responsibilities For Senior Support Engineer

  • Fast customer responses for field inquiries
  • Handle customer and prospective customer inquiries via chat/email/support desk
  • Become a product expert for mobile applications and API integrations
  • Provide feedback to Management and Product Development team
  • Report and track bugs to the Engineering team
  • Maintain high CSAT levels and NPS target rates
  • Create and update help documentation
  • Work to uplevel the skillsets of junior engineers

Requirements For Senior Support Engineer

JavaScript
  • 3-5 years of experience in tech support for SaaS
  • 3-5 years experience in JavaScript, HTML/CSS
  • Experience with API/Webhook, GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS) preferred
  • Ability to handle ~30 tickets per day
  • Experience in customer calls, collecting device data and logs
  • Experience identifying patterns in issue logs
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written
  • Results-driven mentality with focus on AI solutions
  • Ownership thinking and decision-making ability
