We're seeking a seasoned Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in developing and executing reliability test plans and infrastructure for our state-of-the-art robotic systems. You'll be responsible for ensuring the robustness and reliability of our products across diverse customer use cases and mission profiles.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of STEM experience, with deep expertise in reliability engineering. You'll manage supplier testing, develop validation frameworks, and work with cutting-edge technology in robotics. Responsibilities For Reliability Engineer

  • Manage supplier reliability and product validation testing of OEMs components
  • Manage test and burn-in programs at CMs on modules and systems
  • Develop and maintain validation test fixtures for components and sub-systems analysis
  • Leverage lab, test stands, sensors, instrumentation for reliability validation testing
  • Create scripts to automate reliability test setup, data acquisition, and analysis
  • Analyze data, calculate statistics, and document test results
  • Perform failure analysis and develop process/design mitigations
  • Collaborate with external labs for environmental and reliability tests
  • Perform reliability modeling, analysis, and predictions
  • Publish Reliability Growth metrics and periodic updates
  • Work with overseas suppliers and partners to execute comprehensive test strategies

Requirements For Reliability Engineer

Python
  • 10+ years of experience in STEM with at least 3 years of hands-on reliability engineering
  • Understanding of Design for Reliability principles and Physics-of-Failure concepts
  • Hands-on experience with Reliasoft, Weibull++, JMP
  • Coding or scripting capabilities for test automation and data collection
  • Experience with Reliability Growth Models and FMECA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects including remote activities at overseas supplier sites
  • Ability to complete tests and resolve problems in an unattended manner
