Responsibilities For Robotics Engineer II, Hardware, Mechatronics

  • Design and prototype electro-mechanical systems using SolidWorks, KiCAD, FEA, and AutoCAD
  • Design power and control panels with PLC integration and functional safety modules
  • Test mechatronic solutions and troubleshoot using lab instruments
  • Measure, log and debug system performance using embedded C/C++ and Python
  • Write and maintain design documentation and BOM
  • Perform FMEA analysis
  • 25% travel required globally in the US, Canada, India, Taiwan, Japan, and Mexico

Requirements For Robotics Engineer II, Hardware, Mechatronics

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • 2 years of experience in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Product Operations Manufacturing, Robotics, or Automation Engineering
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical systems design
  • Experience with electronics for industrial automation
  • Mechanical design skills using SolidWorks and rapid prototyping
  • Experience with debugging and lab test instruments
  • Knowledge of fundamental controls concepts
  • Basic Embedded programming skills in C/C++ and Python
