As a profitable unicorn with $515m in funding, we're expanding our green manufacturing capabilities, converting greenhouse gas into diamond wafers using zero-emission energy.

We're seeking a dedicated Facilities Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Wenatchee, Washington. This role is crucial for maintaining and improving our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. The position offers a competitive salary range of $78,000 - $95,000 and comes with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, unlimited PTO, and retirement plans.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or related fields, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience. You'll be responsible for managing facility build-outs, maintaining critical systems (HVAC, gas distribution, electrical), and overseeing capital construction projects. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, combined with project management skills, will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities For Facilities Mechanical Engineer

  • Partner with key stakeholders to plan, organize, and lead facility build-out/upgrade projects
  • Ensure designs and implementations conform to regulations, code, and best practice standards
  • Project manage construction initiatives including scope, procurement, and implementation
  • Troubleshoot and maintain all facilities systems, including HVAC, gas distribution, and mechanical/electrical power systems
  • Develop and maintain budgets for repair and construction projects, manufacturing equipment and office furniture system installations

Requirements For Facilities Mechanical Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or Facilities Management (Mechanical preferred)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing industrial mechanical/electrical systems
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems and CAD
  • Proven project and program management skills
  • Experience in semiconductor, solar, or similar manufacturing facilities is highly preferred
