The Senior Facilities Engineer position, based in Fremont, CA, offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the Facility Manager across four Bay Area locations. The role combines hands-on technical work with strategic facility management, requiring expertise in project management, health and safety compliance, construction oversight, and system maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background with a bachelor's degree in relevant fields like Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry. Responsibilities For Senior Facilities Engineer

  • Oversee facility utility improvements and tool installations, coordinating with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors
  • Maintain EH&S records including chemical inventories, training documentation, waste management, and treatment systems
  • Assist with facility upgrades for R&D and experiments, including structural supports setup
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to HVAC, process piping, plumbing, and electrical power distribution systems
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors

Requirements For Senior Facilities Engineer
