Description For Data Engineer - MarTech

Digital FEMSA is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join their MarTech ecosystem team. This role is crucial in managing and implementing data flows that power the company's customer data platform (CDP) and digital engagement tools. The position combines data engineering, data science, and MarTech expertise to deliver effective marketing campaigns and customer experience initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the 360-degree customer view by connecting various data sources and reporting to the Data Lake. They will work with both batch and real-time data processing, implement data flows, and ensure data quality across all systems. The role requires strong technical skills in Python programming and experience with various CDP and digital engagement tools.

Key aspects of the role include developing data science models for customer segmentation, managing APIs and webhooks for data exchange, and establishing coding standards. The position offers an opportunity to work with modern MarTech tools and contribute to the digital transformation of a major enterprise.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in data engineering or data science, strong Python development skills, and experience with cloud platforms. They will work in an agile, cross-functional environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer - MarTech

  • Implement data flows feeding CDP and Digital Engagement tools through data engineering processes
  • Maintain updated 360-degree customer profile information through source connections like Data Lake
  • Monitor connections and customer communication journeys within CDP tools and Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Braze
  • Gather requirements from Business Areas to address data needs for growth marketing teams
  • Ensure data remains updated in different processes, both batch and real-time
  • Generate data analysis on the 360 profile to improve profile quality
  • Develop Data Science models for segmentation and loyalty program status tracking
  • Create segments and audiences for marketing and CX teams
  • Enable APIs and webhooks for data exchange between Digital@Femsa ecosystem tools
  • Establish Python coding standards and practices
  • Lead resolution of complex technical problems
  • Perform impact and risk analysis for MarTech tool changes
  • Support continuous improvement of development processes

Requirements For Data Engineer - MarTech

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Science roles
  • 1 year of experience with Data Analysis tools
  • 1 year of experience with MarTech tools like CDP and Digital Engagement
  • Knowledge of CDP tools (Data Cloud, Segment, Blueconic Adobe) and Digital Engagement tools (Braze, Salesforce, Adobe)
  • At least 3 years of Python development experience
  • Experience with technologies and frameworks (.NET, Java, Microservices, RESTful APIs)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile, cross-functional environment
