Responsibilities For Software Engineer II, VR Prototyping

  • Work with teams to evaluate and define best 3D real-time approaches and optimization practices
  • Participate in ideation sessions with creative and technical peers for prototype demo experiences
  • Assist in conception and development of demo functionality
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless technology integration and compatibility of high fidelity character models

Requirements For Software Engineer II, VR Prototyping

  • BSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
  • Professional experience in C++ working on game or VR/AR experience
  • 4+ years of experience in real-time graphics development
  • 4+ years of experience with Unreal Engine and Unity3D
  • 3+ years of experience in rapid prototyping
  • Basic understanding of linear algebra and 3D graphics fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Houdini and/or Maya
  • Working familiarity with Agile/Scrum development process
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal direction
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
