Responsibilities For Automation Controls Engineer

  • Manage projects from technical specification to startup support
  • Design and develop electrical control systems, equipment, and programming
  • Write, implement, and debug PLC software
  • Develop contingency and disaster recovery plans
  • Support install, launch and production of all cells
  • Support implementation of proven and newly developed advanced automation
  • Create robust programming to increase equipment uptime
  • Document and develop requirements for automated cells
  • Coordinate and manage controls systems

Requirements For Automation Controls Engineer

Linux
  • Expert in RS logix 500, RS logix 5000, Factory Talk HMI, Baluff I/O link programming
  • Fanuc Programming or basic understanding with Robotics
  • Understanding of safety standards (OSHA 1910, ANSI/RIA 15.06)
  • Auto CAD Experience
  • Ability to read electrical drawings
  • Experience with Vision systems to guide robot
  • Experience with controls and programming servo driven equipment
  • Bachelor's in Electrical or Software Engineering
  • Willingness to travel in North America up to 50%
  • MS-Office proficiency
