Responsibilities For Vision Engineer

  • Design and develop vision control systems, equipment, and programming
  • Write, implement, and debug PLC software
  • Provide support to existing vision equipment globally
  • Follow health, safety, environmental regulations, and safety protocols
  • Communicate across cross-functional groups
  • Manage projects from technical specification to startup support
  • Develop contingency and disaster recovery plans
  • Create training documentation

Requirements For Vision Engineer

  • Three years' experience in a controls/vision engineering role
  • Must be a self-starter, team player with positive attitude
  • Proficient in RSLogix5000, Studio5000, and FactoryTalk View Studio
  • Knowledge of Keyence & Cognex cameras
  • C+ or C++ Programming capabilities
  • Knowledge on machine learning with AI capabilities
  • Willingness to travel globally – up to 30-50%
