Description For Associate Account Manager, Platform Distribution Sales

The Disney Platform Distribution team is seeking an Associate Account Manager who will join their team responsible for distributing content for major brands including ABC, ESPN, Disney+, and Hulu. This role involves working with leading media companies like Amazon Music, SiriusXM, Spotify, and others to negotiate complex distribution agreements for podcasts, linear content, direct-to-consumer, and social media licensing. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, with a focus on managing content distribution partnerships and business development. The role offers opportunities to work with internal stakeholders across programming, marketing, legal, operations, and ad sales teams. Located in New York City, this position offers a competitive salary range of $108,200-$132,200 plus potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.   • Support partnership negotiations on assigned accounts
  • Collaborate with Senior Manager to manage distribution lifecycle
  • Negotiate and maintain radio affiliations for TWDC Audio products
  • Execute account management responsibilities
  • Execute agreement process from negotiation through contract signatures
  • Compile and present business updates
  • Support Platform Distribution Sales team
  • Create and maintain team documents and trackers
  • Foster internal network of Walt Disney Company colleagues
  • Maintain resources related to key partners

Requirements For Associate Account Manager, Platform Distribution Sales

  • At least 3 years of sales, partnership, business development or business affairs experience
  • Understanding of media industry landscape
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Analytical thinking capabilities
  • Ability to develop strong collaborative relationships
  • Proven ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • Limited travel required
