As a Data Governance Engineer, you'll join a team dedicated to ensuring data trustworthiness, security, and compliance across Disney's vast ecosystem.

The role sits within the Data Governance Privacy and Compliance team, focusing on maintaining data compliance with privacy and security regulations. You'll work directly with analytics, data architecture, engineering, legal and security partners to build scalable solutions for complex privacy challenges. The position requires strong attention to detail, accountability, and understanding of large-scale cloud data platforms.

Requirements For Data Governance Engineer

  • 3+ years of enterprise experience with data platforms
  • Subject matter expertise of consent management concepts and tools
  • Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPPA, SOX)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Experience solving problems in ambiguous environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • Experience with technologies like OneTrust, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, Airflow
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala
